Get a room at the beautiful and historic Seelbach Hotel in downtown. Late Summer or earlier Fall would be the best time of year. That way you could take a walk or ride in a horse drawn carriage, while enjoying a nice breeze. Make dinner reservations at Morton's near the corner of Main street and seventh street. Morton's is a wonderful steakhouse. The lighthing is dim and the mood is peaceful. The waiters are superb. Also make a reservation with any one of the horse and carriage companies and take a tour of downtown. Have the carriage drop you off in front of Morton's. A good preceptor to the carriage ride, would be to take a walk thru 21C Museum and Hotel. Walk thru ,unhindered, with your significant other and enjoy the varied artworks and discuss them. After dinner go back to the Seelbach Hotel and enjoy fine roomservice, and some of the most comfortable beds you can find.
